Today is the day to know chocolate! And we present Aya Chocolates!
The company was founded in 2022, by Luiz Fernando de Mello.
“The name Aya means resilience, persistence, and denotes generosity. Aya wants to be able to inspire, with every bite, people in the most different phases and moments of their lives, both those of overcoming and courage, as well as those of satisfaction and happiness. The chocolates are made in micro-batches, with the idea of bringing and highlighting national flavors” - Luiz.
His first experience with the raw material was at age 12, when he started making Easter eggs. After a break of approximately 14 years, Luiz returned with the idea of creating his own brand.
In Ibirarema, SP, Aya was born. It is a Bean To Bar chocolate company, where, through an entirely artisanal process, delivers a unique, fine, pure product with unmatched flavor.
With only 6 months, it was among the highlights of Paladar magazine, from Folha de São Paulo. In addition, in December 2023, the brand had two chocolates awarded by the Academy of Chocolate in London, where it achieved Silver and Bronze. In 2024, it was again among the brands selected by Paladar.
We get emotional seeing dedicated students learning, becoming great professionals in the chocolatry area. Congratulations, Luiz Fernando!
