Did you know that besides chocolate, cocoa can provide us with other delicacies?

Among the various cocoa derivatives are:

- Cibirra sweet: cibirra is that part where the cocoa seeds are attached. Sweets are made with this part.

- Cocoa honey: earned this name due to its sweet flavor. This nectar is released by the white pulp that surrounds the cocoa beans. On farms, it is possible to see and taste at the source the honey that runs down the banana leaves under the cocoa pulps.

- From cocoa pulp (or mucilage, that white part surrounding the seed): Jelly, juices, yogurts, mousses, puddings, ice creams, distillates, cocoa cachaça!

- Nibs (cocoa beans after roasted and peeled, raw material for chocolate production): as sweet or savory snacks, or as an ingredient in sweet or savory recipes.
