Today is the day to meet Nuscaa Chocolates.
“From the overflow of a will to do something with purpose, Nuscaa was born”, says the chocolate maker and creator of the brand, Jessica Scheeren.
From Rio Grande do Sul, living in Curitiba, food engineer by training and passionate about chocolates, sweets, and good products, decided to leave a 21-year career in a food multinational because she believed it was possible to deliver better products to the world. “It wasn't an easy decision and the entrepreneurial journey is full of challenges, but working with purpose and believing in what you are doing brings the motivation to continue on this journey.”
Nuscaa is a small chocolate factory with a big dream: to take the full potential of Brazilian chocolate to your palate, respecting the entire chain, from fruit to bar.
Nuscaa Chocolates' main products are:
- Intense 70% cocoa chocolate,
- Intense Milk Chocolate 50% cocoa,
- Milk Chocolate 44% cocoa,
- Caramelized White Chocolate with cocoa nibs and fleur de sel,
- Chocolate Bark of various flavors (always new flavors according to dates of the year, suggestions, and inventions)
- 44% cocoa milk chocolate with icons of Curitiba (Capybara, Araucarias, Eye Museum, Botanical Garden).

“When looking for reference schools in the chocolate world, Castelli soon appeared. I fell in love with the idea of taking the professional training course: renowned teachers, a wide variety of subjects covered, the possibility of taking classes at night and online, reconciling with my routine; the culture of hospitality... Although I already had experience with chocolate, my vision was very industrial, and knowing cocoa and bean to bar opened the doors to a totally new and passionate world for me.”
